MONTREAL – Quebecor said today it is helping the City of Laval’s Zoom/Art exhibition, where it has deliveredcontemporary art to the people via 30 transit shelter advertising faces which are being used to display the work of seven artists who live in Laval or have Laval roots. The project runs from September 25 to October 25, 2020 as part of Les Journées de la culture.
With artwork on the outside faces of the transit shelters and descriptions and information about the artist and the project on the inside, the installations “invite residents to reflect, to be moved and to travel to other realms during their daily trips by foot, bicycle, bus or car,” reads the Quebecor release.
Residents can also take in the exhibition as an urban art circuit by following the map, available online.
