Chum Radio cuts 40 jobs across the country

TORONTO – Chum Radio has cut 40 staff positions as part of its ongoing efforts to reduce operating expenses. The CTV-owned company issued a statement Thursday, saying that the 17 terminations and 23 vacancies were effective immediately and impacted stations in Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, London, Toronto, Peterborough/Lindsay, Ottawa and Montreal.
