TORONTO – Dale Fallon has been promoted to the position of Director, CHUM Interactive, Maria Hale, vice-president, content business development for CHUM Television, announced today.
In this new position, Fallon will be responsible for streamlining the operations of CHUM’s Interactive department and facilitating strategy and growth for all of CHUM’s existing Interactive businesses.
Reporting to the Hale, who recently ran the company’s interactive department, he will manage a team of more than 30 members from Interactive sales, business development, production, development and design.
Fallon has led the operations, technology and design groups within CHUM Interactive since 2001, providing leadership in the development and implementation of many projects including a content management system for 15 of CHUM’s conventional and specialty television station websites, a centralized membership and contesting system and Canada’s first all-carrier ringtones store.
He has also managed an internal software development team that supports CHUM Interactive’s enviable position as a profitable integrator of television, radio and new media initiatives.
Among his career highlights prior to joining CHUM, Dale was the original webmaster for Bell Canada’s Sympatico consumer web portal.
The promotion is effective immediately.
