CHOM’s Terry DiMonte retiring

MONTREAL — After a remarkable 43 years in broadcasting, CHOM 97.7’s morning show host Terry DiMonte (above) is retiring. The announcement was made during the Bell Media-owned radio station’s show in Montreal this morning. DiMonte’s final live broadcast will be Friday, May 28. “Born in Verdun, Que. and raised on the West Island, DiMonte began his career in broadcasting in Churchill, Man. in 1978.
