CHMB AM1320 raises over 1.1 million dollars for China earthquake victims

VANCOUVER – A Vancouver multicultural radio station has raised over $1.1 million for the victims of the May 12 earthquake that hit Sichuan, China. A two-day-radiothon was launched on May 13, and tens of thousands of calls were received. Also, a charity concert was also held on May 25 at the River Rock Show Theatre in Richmond, to further raise donations for the campaign.
