Charlotte Cardin: The Phoenix Experience coming to Crave

MONTREAL — Bell Media announced today a new film showcasing the talent of Quebec singer-songwriter Charlotte Cardin (above, centre) will be available to stream on Crave starting Aug. 2.

Created to accompany the release of her first album, Phoenix, which dropped last April, Charlotte Cardin: The Phoenix Experience is “a unique and unforgettable 60-minute experience where the viewer is propelled into a rich universe that traces the career of the artist from her beginnings to today,” reads an English translation of Bell Media’s press release.

Directed by Sebaztian, the film “is divided into 15 distinct scenes, where feature film and live concert intertwine,” the release explains. “Although still intimate, the event is a grand narrative that is sure to inspire its audience.”

“Working on The Phoenix Experience was one of the most artistically stimulating experiences of my life. I’m so grateful to have such an amazing team by my side to create these super special moments,” said Cardin, according to the English translation.

“With her four trophies won at the last Juno Awards gala, her millions of online streams and her sold-out shows across the planet, Charlotte Cardin is a source of pride for Quebec,” said Suzane Landry, vice-president of content development, programming and information at Bell Media.

“We are therefore delighted to offer Crave subscribers the opportunity to appreciate the talent of this impressive artist with Charlotte Cardin: The Phoenix Experience.”
