TORONTO – We’ve seen news tickers, sports tickers, business and weather tickers and as of today, we’ve got a gaming ticker.
Casino and Gaming Television Canada has launched The CGTV Spread, Canada’s first and only 24-hour ticker devoted entirely to sports odds and injuries, lottery numbers and casino and gaming news.
For sports fans, the ticker displays up-to-the-minute information on the home and visiting team money lines, the over/under totals, and both the home and away spreads, for all major sports events and games, says the release. In addition, in-depth reports on injured players — with detailed notes on the injury — are displayed on a team-by-team basis, so fans are armed with the latest information on who’s playing and who’s not.
The CGTV Spread is also home to instant lottery number results. The ticker displays the most recent draw results for all major regional and national lotteries, from coast-to-coast.
The latest breaking news headlines from Canadian and worldwide casinos are also featured, highlighting everything from casino-based entertainment and concert updates to business gaming news and the biggest developing stories from Las Vegas.
The ticker was developed in association with Bannister Lake Software Inc., and creative developed in-house by Insight Sports Ltd., CGTV’s owner.
