CFL opens 2019 season with new streaming option, coverage on TSN/RDS, SiriusXM Canada

TORONTO – With the Canadian Football League (CFL) kicking off its 2019 season Thursday, SiriusXM Canada announced plans to offer all games, including playoffs and Grey Cup, to its subscribers.

French broadcasts of all Montréal Alouettes games will be available on ‘Influence Franco’ (ch. 174), and coverage will also include Inside the CFL, a weekly show hosted by Frank Trachtenberg featuring highlights, interviews, analysis and more on ‘Canada Talks’ (ch. 167).  Inside the CFL will air Mondays at 7 p.m. ET starting July 8 and will also be available On Demand.

All 81 CFL regular season, playoff games, and the Grey Cup, will air on TSN.  RDS will have French-language coverage of close to 50 regular season CFL games, including all 18 Montréal Alouettes games, plus the playoffs and Grey Cup.

Viewers in the U.S. can tune in to live CFL games on ESPN networks and ESPN+, while fans in the UK and Ireland can catch the action on BT Sport.  In Mexico, MVS will carry CFL 'Game of the Week' throughout the season as well as playoffs and Grey Cup.

International viewers outside of TSN/RDS/ESPN/BT Sport territories can now stream CFL Game Pass for access to all games this season. CFL Game Pass offers fans three different packages – a season pass for $79.99 USD which includes the playoffs and Grey Cup, a team pass for $36.99 USD which allows fans to follow their favourite team’s games, or a single game pass for $2.99 USD.
