CES to have new exhibitors, sessions


ARLINGTON,VA – This year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will feature 300 new exhibitors, joining the more than 2,700 exhibiting companies who span 30 product categories across 1.7 million net square feet of space.

Blockbuster, Chumby, Electronic Arts, Eye-Fi, Huawei, Hyundai/Kia, Mattel, ooma, Phoenix Technology, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Verizon Wireless are some of the newcomers to the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow held in Las Vegas on January 8-11, 2009. The 2009 International CES will also have 200 conference sessions with 500 expert speakers. New this year is the Cable Conference, with multi-day sessions held January 7-9 geared to address key cable industry business issues. Show organizers also announced the Social Media Jungle session on January 7, which will address how social media is changing the way we work and live, and offer tips on how companies can motivate consumers through social media to drive product sales without increasing costs.
