QUISPAMSIS, N.B. – The Canadian Cable Systems Alliance and Pace Micro Technology have completed a bulk agreement.
“CCSA is pleased to endorse Pace Micro Technology as its supplier of HD, HD-DVR, SD-DVR digital set-top boxes and DOCSIS 2.0 eMTAs. After a thorough evaluation by members of CCSA’s purchasing committee, it was determined that Pace’s product features and competitive price offerings will offer value to the membership,” says Sylvia Janssen, director of purchasing at CCSA, in a release.
U.K.-based Pace equipment is made to work seamlessly with existing cable systems and generally at a lower price point than Motorola or Scientific Atlanta.
“CCSA has an impressive reach throughout Canada, and as the supplier of choice for its 94 member companies, we look forward to providing them with set-tops from our extensive family of Pace products," added Pace America vice president, business development, Tim O’Loughlin.
