CBC’s Lacroix still on the job as search for successor continues


OTTAWA – Hubert Lacroix, the outgoing president and CEO of CBC-Radio-Canada, will remain in the role he took on 10 years ago as the search continues for his successor.He was due to step down from the role on December 31, but the public broadcaster reported that an agreement was reached allowing him to stay in his position "until a replacement is found."   Lacroix (pictured), 62, took on the president and chief executive role on January 1, 2008.The report quotes a spokesperson for Heritage Minister Mélanie Joly who said that the government is giving its advisory panel "the time it needs to...
