CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions promotes Hisham Ghostine


TORONTO — CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions announced today Hisham Ghostine (above) has been promoted to executive director of digital monetization, sales, marketing and Olympics for CBC/Radio-Canada, effective immediately.

Originally hired by CBC/Radio-Canada in May 2021, Ghostine’s new role broadens his existing portfolio of sales and marketing for Toronto, Western Canada and Olympics, explains a press release.

Still based in Toronto, Ghostine now has “overall responsibility for revenue generation and management on all sales tiers and platforms. Through the development of strategic initiatives and strong relationships with key internal and external partners, he will work to develop and sustain a competitive advantage for CBC/Radio-Canada,” the release reads.

“Change is the only constant when we look at the evolving digital media landscape,” says Donald Lizotte, general manager and chief revenue officer at CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions, in the press release.

“The opportunity and need to monetize this dynamic environment is critical to our continued and future success. It is with this need in mind, we are undergoing a digital transformation in Media Solutions, designed to develop and lead the monetization strategy of our digital ecosystems within CBC/Radio-Canada, and I am thrilled to have Hisham at the helm.”
