OTTAWA – CBC is broadcasting the 46664 concert honouring South African leader Nelson Mandela in a multitude of platforms – on CBC Television, its specialty channel bold, its radio network and on its website at CBC.ca/Mandela.
The CBC is the exclusive Canadian broadcaster of the Will Smith-hosted event featuring bands live from Hyde Park in London, England, on June 27.
CBC Television will air concert highlights on June 27 at 7:30 p.m. ET, with shared coverage on CBC Radio 2 and streaming on CBC.ca/mandela. The concert will air in its entirety on bold on June 28, at 1 p.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET, and will be available on CBC.ca until July 27.
