TORONTO – CBC today announced a 90-minute viewing event celebrating Schitt’s Creek on Tuesday, April 7.
This night of programming kicks off at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) with the final episode of Schitt’s Creek followed by Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A Schitt’s Creek Farewell, an original, emotional one-hour special, at 8:30 p.m. (9 p.m. NT) on CBC and the free CBC Gem streaming service.
“Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A Schitt’s Creek Farewell is our way of commemorating the end of this truly iconic series and saying thank you to all the fans in Canada and around the world who have joined us on a beautiful six-year journey,” said Sally Catto, general manager of entertainment, factual and sports. “This special night of programming gives audiences an opportunity to say goodbye to the characters, cast and town that have meant so much to them. In the words of David Rose himself, “I feel like that needs to be celebrated.”
The special caps off the four-time Emmy-nominated comedy series, giving fans an intimate and behind-the-scenes look at the making of the sixth and final season.
