PETERBOROUGH and SAN MATEO, CA – RGB Networks, a leader in network video processing, today launched its reseller program to expand the market for the company’s digital video products with cable and telco network operators worldwide.
The initial launch partner is Capella Telecommunications, a well regarded reseller that specializes in the Canadian cable and telecom markets.
“Capella has a well deserved reputation for excellent service, support and integration services, all key reasons for choosing them to be an RGB reseller,” said Lou Mastrocola, vice-president of sales for RGB Networks, in a press release. “We will continue to expand our program with new resellers targeting other geographies and by adding new technology partners who can integrate our products with their solutions.”
“Canadian cable operators are amongst the most advanced in the world and are pushing the boundaries of on-demand, personalized services that can benefit greatly from RGB’s suite of products and their high stream processing density,” said Wayne Rabey, Capella’s vice-president of sales. “Our customers demand the best solutions for delivering new, more advanced services and RGB continues to impress with the depth and breadth of their product line and the unique capabilities and performance they provide.”
RGB Networks offers a suite of digital video networking products built on its unique Video Intelligence Architecture (VIA) which enable an unprecedented number of digital video streams to be processed in a small form factor of one rack unit (1RU). This stream processing density – combined with transrating, statistical remultiplexing, digital overlay, digital program insertion (DPI), modulation and digital-to-analog decoding capabilities – enable RGB’s products to reduce cost and complexity.
