Canwest pushes out recapitalization filing deadline

WINNIPEG – Canwest has agreed to extend the date to file its recapitalization plan with the courts until November 30, 2009.Canwest said late last week that it agrees with members of the ad hoc committee of 8% senior subordinated noteholders, (the ad hoc committee), to extend the date by which it must file a consensual recapitalization plan with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
