TORONTO – CanWest MediaWorks’ Chris McGinley has been promoted to the newly created position of senior vice-president of station operations.
In this position, McGinley will oversee the operations of all of CanWest MediaWorks’ television and radio stations, including Global Television and CH.
“Chris brings a wealth of experience and an outstanding track record to this new role,” said Kathy Dore, president of CanWest MediaWorks television and radio, in a press release.

ts, McGinley was responsible for the operations of nine Global and CH television stations across British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Prior to that, she served as general manager of Global Television’s Alberta stations from 2000 to 2005, and held various positions with WIC Television Ltd.
