Canadians can now access fuboTV on Samsung Smart TVs

TORONTO – Sports-first live television streaming platform fuboTV Inc. announced last week it is now available through the fuboTV app on Samsung Smart TVs in Canada.

Currently, the app is available on 2017 to 2021 Samsung Smart TV models, with 2022 models expected to be added soon.

“Through the app, viewers can access premium sports and entertainment content on popular channels including OneSoccer and beIN Sports, featuring coverage of the Canadian Premier League, Canadian National Men’s Soccer and Ligue 1 as well as the CBC and Paramount Network, home to one of TV’s hottest dramas, Yellowstone, among others,” a press release explains.

“The platform currently holds the exclusive streaming rights to Serie A, Coppa Italia and PFL Challenger Series in the market, and recently announced it will be the exclusive provider of the Premier League in Canada beginning in August 2022.”

Subscribers will have access to the streamer’s video on demand library, including extensive news programming.

“Canadian fuboTV subscribers are showing increased use of connected devices, indicating a preference to watching their favourite programs on the big screen,” says Vanessa Morbi, vice-president of marketing at fuboTV, in the release.

“Bringing fuboTV to platforms like Samsung enables us to offer our users more viewing options, so they can continue to enjoy the best of sports and entertainment.”
