MONTREAL – Bell Media’s Much Studios has tapped two of its own creators, Jae and Trey Richards of 4YE, for a new eight-part web series that will launch on Much.com and YouTube later this year.

The series will kick off production this summer and be based on 4YE’s popular recurring character Tyco, best known from the “T-Dot Goon Scrap DVD” skits.  Judge Tyco takes place in a courtroom where Tyco, based on his reputation of being one of Toronto’s top goons, has been appointed as judge. Totally unqualified, Judge Tyco, presides over the trivial cases of teenagers.

“We love working with our longtime Much Studios collaborators, 4YE – they are creative, funny, and focused,” said Bell Media’s pay and OTT services VP Justin Stockman, in the news release. “After laughing over Tyco’s antics for ages, we’re thrilled to work with Jae and Trey to take him to the next level in Judge Tyco.”

4YE, the Brampton, ON-born brothers and comedy duo, have amassed a loyal audience of more than 1 million YouTube subscribers and more than 90 million lifetime views, plus garnered praise from entertainers including Kevin Hart and Drake.  Since joining with Much Studios in 2015, 4YE has increased their average audience growth more than five times, and have each gained more than 100k followers on Instagram.
