Canadian Music Week moves to May for 2014

TORONTO – The organizers of Canadian Music Week have announced that next year’s event will move from March to the warmer month of May and will be held May 6 to 10, 2014 at Toronto’s Eaton Centre Marriott Hotel. According to CMW’s somewhat tongue-in-cheek announcement, the cold March weather was apparently the deciding factor for the date change: “After 31 years of freezing our asses off, we’re heeding your advice and moving to warmer forecasts.” Indeed, it did snow a couple of CMW days this year.
