TORONTO – Family game show Just Like Mom and Dad will return with 22 new episodes this fall on Yes TV in Canada and BYUtv in the U.S., producer marblemedia said Tuesday.

The production company partnered with Bell Media to create an updated version of the show, which originally aired on CTV Toronto station CFTO-TV between 1980 and 1985 before going into syndication.  The first 20 episodes of the reboot are rolling out now after debuting in January.

The hilarious and fun-filled game show celebrates and rewards families for how well they know each other. Each episode features three teams of parent-kid pairs that are all trying to accumulate the most points after three rounds of family fun.

To accompany the launch of the new block of episodes, the mobile Just Like Mom and Dad game (iOS, Android), created by marblemedia, will also see new updates, such as an 'in-game announcement system' which alerts players of poignant game and brand information, a new block of challenges, and additional prizes for winners.

marblemedia added that it secured all production and distribution rights from Bell Media in a multi-year deal that includes worldwide program and format distribution rights to the series, through marblemedia's distribution arm Distribution360, along with digital and ancillary rights.  Segal Licensing is handling licensing and merchandising for the series.

Baskin Robbins and Dave and Busters are returning partners and marblemedia said that it is currently in discussions with other brand integration partnerships for participation in the series.
