Canadian Fiber Optics expands 10 Gbps network in northwest Alberta

CALGARY — Alberta-based rural broadband provider Canadian Fiber Optics (CFOC) announced today it has launched 10 Gbps industrial internet service along the Highway 40 energy corridor in northwest Alberta. CFOC says it has completed a privately funded, 250-kilometre fibre-optic transport network through the heart of the Montney gas field connecting Grande Cache with the Grande Prairie region.
