EDMONTON – Canadian comedy series Tiny Plastic Men will debut nine webisodes of their upcoming third season online, months before the series’ premiere on Super Channel, as part of a new multi-platform release model.

Produced by Mosaic EntertainmentTiny Plastic Men follows the antics of a trio of man boys who test toy prototypes in their playroom of an office at Gottfried Brothers Toy and Train Company.  Filled with rapid-fire jokes, twisted situations and hilarious sketches, the series received a Canadian-Screen-Award nomination for Best Comedy Series earlier this year.

“Ever since Tiny Plastic Men premiered in 2012, we’ve been getting requests to make it available online”, said Mosaic Entertainment executive producer Eric Rebalkin, in the news release. “We’re so thrilled to be able to provide this show to our fans, and have enjoyed collaborating with Super Channel to make this release model a possibility.”

“We’re excited to take this journey with Tiny Plastic Men,” added Super Channel director of Canadian programming Julie Di Cresce.  “It’s so important to be at the forefront of this rapidly-changing media landscape. We’re also thrilled to be able to offer a large piece of the new season to a whole new audience.”

The webisodes will be available beginning November 3 on YouTube and the show’s website.  Mosaic Entertainment is also releasing a new mobile game called GayBots, as a follow up to the first-person sniper game Kitten Assassin. Both games are inspired by fictional toy lines from the show, and add another opportunity for fans to engage with the world of Tiny Plastic Men.
