
TORONTO – Pat Mayo is joining the new media and content team of Boston-based daily fantasy sports content provider DraftKings.
Mayo (pictured) joins DraftKings as a Fantasy analyst and host to provide expert analysis and exclusive content for fans across its platform. The Canadian broadcaster previously served as a host for fantasy sports TV network FNTSY.
Other editorial moves at DraftKings includes the addition of former ESPN producer and director Thomas Rigia to oversee all video operations, and former NESN producer Tom Glennon who will direct and produce a series of new programming, launch a real-time video ‘news desk’, and expand the company’s integration of reporters and access to teams and leagues in video coverage.
Founded in 2012, DraftKings’ skill-based Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) platform allows fans in North America and the UK to compete in single-day, online fantasy sports contests across a variety of professional sports. It is the exclusive DFS partner of Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, Major League Soccer, NASCAR and the Canadian Football League.
