Canada’s production industry facing $2.5-billion hit due to Covid-19


OTTAWA — With television and film production at a standstill in Canada due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the negative impact on the country’s production sector could amount to as much as $2.5 billion in lost revenues and affect up to 172,000 jobs, according to the CMPA.
