“Oh Canada! We hope audiences are enjoying Canada’s Drag Race and watching along as our Canadian queens show the world just how true, north, strong, and fierce they really are,” said Tracey Pearce, president of distribution and pay at Bell Media, in the news release. “Continuing in the tradition of the Drag Race franchise, Canada’s Drag Race is a celebration of diversity, inclusivity, tolerance, and acceptance — with an unapologetically Canadian twist — and we’re thrilled to share it with the world.”
Outside of the U.S. and Canada, the distribution deals were brokered by London-based Passion Distribution. In association with Crave, Canada’s Drag Race, which was co-created by OUTtv, is produced by Blue Ant Studios. Executive producers for World of Wonder are Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato and Tom Campbell. Star RuPaul serves as executive producer. Executive producers for Blue Ant Studios are Michael Kot, Laura Michalchyshyn, Mike Bickerton and Betty Orr.
The next all-new episode of Canada’s Drag Race (July 30, 9 p.m. ET) will feature guest host Mary Walsh and officially welcomes Snatch Game to Canada.
