Canada ranks tenth in fixed broadband subscriptions: OECD report

PARIS – Canada ranks tenth out of 31 OECD countries for total fixed (wired) broadband subscriptions, and 27th out of 29 for total wireless broadband subscriptions. A new report from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) issued Monday calculated that as of June 2010, Canada had approximately 10.14 million fixed and 357,000 wireless broadband subs.
