Canada, Mexico unveil new coproduction incentive

MEXICO CITY - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and and the Mexican Film Institute (IMCINE) are establishing a new Production Incentive for fiction, documentary or animation series produced in collaboration between Mexican and Canadian producers.Unveiled during the opening ceremony of the Mercado Industria Cine y Audiovisual, the incentive will have CAD$1M in total amount of available funds, with a contribution of CAD $500,000 from CMF and IMCINE respectively, to be distributed among the selected projects.
