TORONTO – As the very best Canadian hockey players gather in Calgary this week, CTVOlympics.ca and RDSolympiques.ca are offering Canadians the chance to pick Team Canada with the launch of ‘Fantasy Hockey 2010: Roster Predictor’.
The interactive fantasy game allows fans to predict the final 23-player roster for Team Canada. Choosing from Canada’s top players, users can draft a team which includes three goalies, seven defencemen, 12 forwards, and one ‘swing-slot’ in which fans can select an extra skater at any position.
The grand prize is a 50” plasma TV and Omnia phone. Team Canada’s final roster for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games will be announced in December, and the contest closes December 13, 2009.
