Calgary achieves top 10 global ranking for 5G download speeds, says Opensignal

LONDON, U.K. — In its latest benchmarking of the 5G experience in cities around the world, U.K.-based mobile analytics company Opensignal has given Calgary a 10th-place ranking for average 5G download speed as measured during the period from January 1 to March 31, 2021. Users in Calgary had an average 5G download speed of 184.1 Mbps during the measurement period, according to Opensignal’s latest analysis in a report released Wednesday evening.
