CableLabs unveils VOD metadata plan

NEW YORK - This Technology, LLC and Cable Television Laboratories today announced that ThisTech has licensed its MetaMore software platform for use by CableLabs’ Metadata project. CableLabs has named ThisTech’s platform for demonstrating interoperability among CableLabs VOD Metadata 1.1 and 2.0 specifications compliant systems. Specifically, MetaMore will be the reference and first implementation for translation between CableLabs VOD Metadata 1.1 and 2.0 specifications.
