CableLabs to showcase advanced technology tools at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2011

LOUISVILLE, CO – New approaches for managing second-screen advertising synchronization, solutions for SIP-based business connectivity, and tools for troubleshooting tru2way networks are among the range of operational and support resources that will be demonstrated by CableLabs at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2011 which starts next week.

In a display area co-sponsored with SCTE, CableLabs personnel will provide hands-on demonstrations of operational tools, support software and related resources tied to current industry technology initiatives including tru2way networks, ETV applications, proactive network maintenance, second-screen synchronization, HTML5, and SIP trunking.

“Supporting our member companies in the deployment of advanced technologies is a critical mission for CableLabs,” said Ralph Brown, CTO for the industry research-and-development organization.  “Our presence at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2011 underscores the fact that our work extends beyond the development of technologies themselves, and into the realm of ongoing testing and operational issues.”

The CableLabs display can be found at Exhibit Space 1722.  The SCTE Cable-Tec Expo will take place November 15 – 17 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
