CableLabs certifies first PacketCable 2.0 embedded devices

LOUISVILLE, CO – Two embedded digital voice adaptors (E-DVAs) from Ambit and Thomson have each achieved certified status for PacketCable 2.0 from CableLabs, becoming the first equipment to pass the stringent testing process. PacketCable 2.0 is a set of specifications aimed at accelerating the convergence of digital voice and multimedia services in consumers’ homes.
