Cable to have the most DVR customers, says report

LONDON – Cable will overtake DTH as the top global DVR provider by the end of this year - recording 26.3 million homes against DTH's 24.9 million - as digital cable grows quicker than other means of distribution, according to a report issued by Informa Telecoms & Media forecasts. This is big news in Europe, whose digital TV leader has long been satellite service providers.
