Cable-Tec 2006: TVC Canada lands CCSA member supplier deal

MARKHAM, Ont. – TVC Canada has been awarded a contract to supply coax cable and pole and dropline hardware to all members of the Canadian Cable Systems Alliance, the company announced.

TVC, the Markham, Ont.-based integrator and value-added reseller of products and services for the cable and broadcast industries, will provide the products to various CCSA members across Canada through its nationally supported distribution network.

“We at TVC are thrilled to have been awarded this business, as increasing our profile with the CCSA and its members was a key strategic objective our team set for itself moving into this year,” said Luc Morissette, V.P. of Sales for TVC Canada. “We are proud of our service history with many CCSA members, and this contract will aide us in strengthening and expanding our relationships with them.”

The CCSA thinks its independent cable company members will benefit. “As an industry distribution leader, we are very confident in TVC Canada’s abilities to meet or exceed our members’ service expectations for these products,” said Sylvia Janssen, Director of Purchasing for the CCSA.

TVC Canada has stocking warehouses and sales staff in Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver.
