Cable still rules, but Canadian TV distribution market is “fragmented”: MTM

OTTAWA – While most consumers still receive their television service from cable, satellite or telco TV providers, the rise of new and evolving platforms have effectively fragmented the Canadian TV distribution market, says a new report from Media Technology Monitor (MTM).The Fall 2013 TV Distribution report evaluates trends in the way consumers access TV, what enhanced products/services they are using, and how they bundle their services.
