LINDSAY, ON – Cable Cable is powering high speed broadband connections for public WiFi in more branches of the Kawartha Lakes public library system.

The independent communications company said WiFi equipment has been upgraded in the Lindsay, Bobcaygeon, Coboconk and Fenelon Falls branches, and installed in Bethany, Dunsford, Kinmount, Kirkfield, Little Britain, Norland, Oakwood and Woodville in the Central Ontario municipality.

The purchase of the WIFI equipment and ongoing connectivity costs were funded through a provincial grant from the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport via the Southern Ontario Library Service.
