Brouillette to head up new consumer services group at Videotron

MONTREAL – Videotron has named Manon Brouillette to the newly created position of president for consumer services.

In addition, Myrianne Collin has been appointed senior vice-president, strategy & marketing, while Marie Ginette Lepage becomes vice-president, product development. The Montreal-based company said Wednesday that the new roles are part of its plan to intensify its focus on customer service.

Since joining Videotron in 2004, Brouillette (pictured) has spearheaded a string of key projects, including the launch of Videotron’s new mobile service, the illico web Internet television service, and the company’s faster high speed Internet service.  She most recently held the title of EVP of strategy and marketing, and for the past year has also been overseeing the development of digital services as chief digital officer of Quebecor Media Inc.

Videotron president and CEO Robert Dépatie said that the reorganization will allow him to concentrate more fully on the company’s strategic priorities, vision, and growth, including the development of the Videotron group as a whole.

“I am fortunate to be surrounded by colleagues who are as competent as they are dedicated,” Dépatie said in the announcement. “They have a passion for excellence and success. We have the best team in Canada and they will make sure we continue delivering the best customer experience available in the marketplace.”
