Broadcasters rally to bring Gord Kidder home

THE CANADIAN BROADCAST industry is pulling together in support of long-time radio salesperson Gord Kidder.According to a GoFundMe Page, Kidder recently travelled to Europe to take part in ceremonies to honour his uncle who was a POW in WWII and the 75th anniversary of The Great Escape. He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and was rushed to a hospital in Prague (Czech Republic) for emergency surgery where he remains in a coma in the intensive care unit. Unfortunately, Kidder does not have out-of-country or private health care insurance coverage and expenses continue to accrue.
