WASHINGTON, DC – A ‘Main Street America’-themed technology showcase called ‘Broadband Nation’ will debut at The Cable Show ’09 as the centerpiece of the exhibition floor.
Highlighting the services and consumer benefits associated with cable’s broadband telecommunications platform, the 22,000 square foot exhibit will offer a sneak peek at new technology products and services for the home, school, and office, as well as specialized applications for medical centers, retail and entertainment outlets.
Planned demonstrations include advanced network monitoring and operations, DOCSIS 3.0 high-speed data, Tru2way and enhanced TV applications, Voice over IP solutions, networked home technologies, broadband-enabled home appliances, WiMAX Mobile broadband, portable media – time-shifting/place-shifting technologies, and more.
The 58th annual convention and international exposition of the National Cable and Telecommunications Association (NCTA) will be held at the Washington, DC convention center from April 1 – 3.
