Boris family helps fund new robotic surgery


HAMILTON, ON - The family of the late Owen Boris, founder of Mountain Cablevision, donated $5 million to St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton on Friday for a new robotic surgery tool. Known as the da Vinci SI Surgical Robotic System, the minimally invasive technology is expected to lead to faster recovery, less pain, a decreased risk of infection and fewer complications.
