The full line up of channels available are: CBC Newsworld, RDI, The Weather Network, MétéoMédia, MSNBC, CNBC, Sportsnet Blue Jays, G4 Tech TV, The Shopping Channel, Fox News, BBC World, Indie Video on Demand.
"Rogers has both the largest cable company and the largest wireless carrier in Canada. This gives us a unique ability to combine the innovation of our wireless group with our cable company’s expertise in providing customers with the programming that matters to them," said Phil Lind, vice-chair, Rogers Communications Inc.
“Furthermore, we are the only company – anywhere in North America – to deliver live sports programming to our customers, bringing, of course, live Blue Jays games to customers wherever they are!"
Rogers owns the Blue Jays, as well as mobile channels G4 Tech TV and The Shopping Channel.
Rogers Mobile Television service is powered by MobiTV, the world’s first network and platform to bring TV to wireless phones. Bell Canada and Sprint (U.S.) also use the platform.
Rogers Mobile Television is available for a promotional period for $9/month plus additional data transport fee of $16/month. This cost includes both a subscription fee and access to channels.
