Blue Ant’s T+E taps Dan Aykroyd to narrate Hotel Paranormal

TORONTO — Blue Ant Media’s T+E will premiere its new original 10-part documentary series Hotel Paranormal (10×60) on Friday, May 15 at 9 p.m.

Produced by Toronto-based Saloon Media, a Blue Ant Studios company, and narrated by Canadian icon Dan Aykroyd, the series follows stories of those who say they have had paranormal encounters at hotels, motels and short-term rentals around the world.

“I was excited to come on board and narrate T+E’s Hotel Paranormal because I think the show is going to be a real skeptic-buster and as a believer in ghosts that makes me happy,” says Aykroyd, in the news release. “I’ve been watching T+E’s paranormal programming for years and when you marry a great channel with gripping and entertaining real-life ghost stories, such as those told in Hotel Paranormal, I’m on board.”

From hotel workers and guests who claim to have witnessed objects flying across the room to uncovering what some think are trapped ancient spirits or experiencing demonic possession, Hotel Paranormal shows recreations of such claims.

“T+E is the home of paranormal programming and when we heard that Canada’s own Dan Aykroyd was a fan of our channel, we leaped at the chance to work together on our newest original series,” said Jamie Schouela, president, Canadian media, Blue Ant Media.

T+E recently extended its nationwide free preview, running now until June 1.
