Blue Ant Media announced last week its wildlife and natural history channel Love Nature has launched on Delta in the Netherlands.
Available on channel 351 as part of Delta’s Extra TV package or via its Unlimited Entertainment offering, Love Nature will offer wildlife and nature programming in English with Dutch subtitles.
Programming available to Delta subscribers includes the premiere of The Kimberley: Australia’s Wild West (three episodes x 60 minutes) alongside additional original Love Nature titles such as Airborne (three x 60 minutes), Pride Rules (five x 60 minutes) and HumanLike: The Chimps of Fongoli (one x 60 minutes).
The deal with Delta, overseen by Chiara McKee, vice president of EMEA global channels and streaming at Blue Ant Media, strengthens Blue Ant’s presence in the Netherlands and grows Love Nature’s momentum across Europe, said a Blue Ant Media press release.
“The Netherlands represents a key territory for Love Nature,” McKee said in the press release. “As we launch the channel on DELTA, we’re thrilled to connect with more Dutch audiences at a moment when global attention is focused on the planet.”
“At DELTA, we continue to invest in a distinctive TV offering that delivers real added value for our customers,” said Ludolf Rasterhoff, chief content officer at Delta, in a statement. “Love Nature is a compelling addition, bringing premium wildlife content and further broadening and deepening our entertainment portfolio.”
Love Nature’s expansion in the Dutch market follows its French-language debut on Canal+ in France earlier this year.
