WASHINGTON, D.C. — Blue Ant Media today announced the further expansion of its wildlife and nature linear channel Love Nature in Latin America with its launch on StarTV in Mexico.

Love Nature’s debut on the pay-TV platform will give StarTV’s Spanish-speaking subscribers access to the brand’s catalogue of original documentaries and series, including Dogs with Extraordinary Jobs (pictured, 5 episodes x 60 minutes, Oxford Scientific Films) and Malawi Wildlife Rescue (6 x 60, Icon Films).

The channel’s line-up will also feature exclusive content from Love Nature’s celebrated Camp Zambia programming, which includes Africa’s Hunters (18 x 60, Plimsoll Productions) and The Big Dry (3 x 60, Plimsoll Productions).

“As we grow Love Nature’s fan base around the world, LATAM continues to be an important market, allowing us to tap into an ever-growing audience that is passionate about wildlife and nature programming that the whole family can enjoy,” said Julio Sobral, senior vice-president of LATAM and U.S. channel distribution for Love Nature, in a press release.

Available in more than 200 million households worldwide, via its branded linear and online platforms, Love Nature’s programming aims to forge emotional connections between audiences and the natural world, while also educating viewers with content that expands their knowledge about nature and animals.
