Blue Ant Studios announced Monday several original commissions from wildlife and nature brand Love Nature that the studio-distributor will be representing at the international documentary marketplace Sunny Side of the Doc, being held this week in La Rochelle, France.
Blue Ant Studios will manage international licensing and pre-sales for four new greenlights, which include: Animal Crowds (3 episodes x 60 minutes), produced by France’s Bonne Pioche Télévision in association with ARTE GEIE; The Philippines (2 x 60), produced by Austria’s Terra Mater Studios in association with Germany’s Catkin Media Production and Doclights; and two titles from Australia’s WildBear Entertainment, Boss Shark: Battle of the Sexes (1 x 60, co-produced with Discovery) and Planet Weird Season 2 (6 x 60).
The new original Love Nature titles will premiere on Love Nature worldwide and will roll out on Sky Nature in the U.K., Italy and Germany in addition to premieres across co-commissioning territories, a Blue Ant Studios press release said.
