LOS ANGELES – Blue Ant Media has bought preschool IP Jelly Jamm from Spain’s Vodka Capital as it continues to grow its library of children’s content.
The deal includes two seasons of the animated kids’ series Jelly Jamm (78×11’ each; HD), 13 original songs, 17 original characters, social media platforms, and all licensing and merchandising rights.
Aimed at kids aged four to seven, each eleven-minute episode of this animated series celebrates music, fun, and friendship through the story of Bello and his four friends as they figure out how to live in harmony on the magical Planet Jammbo, where all the music in the universe originates from.
Jelly Jamm currently airs on Blue Ant-owned ZooMoo Network’s linear channels across Asia, LATAM, EMEA, U.S. Hispanic, Brazil, and Australia.
Blue Ant Media said that it will explore the possibility of further expanding the Jelly Jamm content offerings.
“Blue Ant Media continues to grow its offering in both the kids' arena and the marketplace,” said Ward Platt, Blue Ant Media’s CEO, global networks & kids, in the news release. “The Jelly Jamm acquisition aligns perfectly with our goal of offering quality and creatively-driven content.”
