Blue Ant Media takes on the Cottage Life


TORONTO – Blue Ant Media has purchased Canadian lifestyle company Cottage Life Media Inc. and its four consumer publications – Cottage Life, Cottage, Outdoor Canada, Canadian Home Workshop. The purchase also includes Cottage Life Media custom magazines, books, social-media apps, and the bi-annual Cottage Life consumer shows. Cottage Life Media will continue to be led by founder, President, and CEO, Al Zikovitz. 

Earlier this year Cottage Life Media acquired Cottage, a magazine that focuses on the unique British Columbia and Alberta market, giving the publisher a greater presence across Canada. 

"The acquisition by Blue Ant will provide strategic extension and expansion of the Cottage Life brand, positioning it for continued success in the rapidly changing media environment," said Al Zikovitz, CEO, and President, Cottage Life Media Inc. "It will give our readers and our advertisers increased media options that feature coast-to-coast interests."
