Blue Ant Media announced Tuesday the launch of its free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel Declassified on VIZIO WatchFree+ in the United States.
Already available on LG Channels, Pluto TV and Tubi, Declassified features stories about history, ancient civilizations, engineering feats and espionage.
Brokered by Julio Sobral, senior vice president of channel distribution at Blue Ant Media, the new deal with VIZIO is an expansion of the Canadian channel operator’s existing partnership with the streamer, in which Declassified joins additional Blue Ant FAST channels, including Love Nature, Love Pets, Homeful and HauntTV, on the VIZIO platform.
“The launch of Declassified expands our collaborative partnership with VIZIO even further,” Carlyn Staudt, executive vice president of global channels and streaming at Blue Ant Media, said in a press release. “We’re excited to add this channel to the incredible ever-expanding content offering on its WatchFree+ platform.”
Programming available on Declassified includes Spycraft (eight episodes x 60 minutes), “which takes viewers on clandestine missions to learn how spies ferret out sensitive intel about foreign countries with the help of high-tech tools,” reads a description in Blue Ant’s press release.
Other channel programming highlights include Top Secret UFO Projects: Declassified (6 x 60), Super Tunnel (9 x 60), Hidden Histories of WWII (4 x 60), The Weather Files (8 x 60), and Forbidden History (18 x 60).
