TORONTO – Blue Ant International is expanding its UK office with the appointment of Mike Jackson to senior director, international sales & acquisitions.
Jackson, pictured, arrives at Blue Ant International from Banijay International where he served as head of global sales. His previous work includes roles at DCD Rights, Zodiak Rights and DRG’s Zeal Television.
In his new role, Jackson will oversee efforts across a remit that includes co-productions, pre-sales, sales and acquisitions. He will be responsible for sales to the UK, Nordics (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland), Benelux (Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg), Southern Europe (Italy Capodistria, Malta, San Marino, Switzerland, Vatican City, Greece and Cyprus) and the Middle East (Afghanistan, Armaco, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon and Oman). His first market representing Blue Ant International will be MIPTV.
